Another idea - medical schools sometimes offer free medical care to those who volunteer to be treated by their students, although seldom with help for transportation costs. You could check if there's one close enough for this to be useful, which trains dentists.
I don't know if any of these are close enough you can use them.
Medical schools sometimes allow people to volunteer for free medical care from their students, although usually with no help for transportation expenses. You might check if any are close enough that this would be useful.
For now though, I'd recommend watching the news to see if the hurricane approaching Texas is likely to come close enough to give you more problems than whistling winds and heavy rain.
Note that most cookbooks that claim to be good for diabetics are based on the old idea that avoiding sugar, but not easily digested forms of starch, is good for controlling type 2 diabetes. More recent research has shown that the easily digested forms of starch digest about as fast as sugar, and into the same types of simple sugars. Therefore, cookbooks labelled low-carb usually work better for controlling type 2 diabetes. Generally, only various forms of insulin can control type 1 diabetes, though, so you may want to ask her doctor which type she has.
The assisted living facility I'm now in is thinking of adding a building to house seniors who don't need assisted living yet. Would you like to discuss adding a senior day care center to that building or nearby with them?
They employ cooks (who usually cook for a group, with little help except a second cook for the rest of the week) and homemakers (mostly women, apparantly with little training except a few days they provide). The cooks are usually expected to work 12 hours a day, but only half the days every two week period. The homemakers usually work 8 hour shifts, but sometimes two shifts in a row if the next homemaker doesn't arrive. Some locations might have jobs for both.
For now, though, you'd better watch the weather reports to see if the hurricane approaching Texas is expected to get close enough to your area that you can expect more than whistling winds and heavy rain.
Something I've read about in the US that you might check whether it's available close enough to you - medical schools sometimes let people volunteer for medical treatment from their students, usually free except for any costs for transportation getting there and back.
Also, here's a site where you can volunteer to help test new medicines, usually free:
Available in many countries, but you'll have to check how close to you and whether any of the medicines being tested are suitable for treating your cancer.
Sorry I can't help your financial needs more directly.
She might check this website to see if there are any free dental care sites close enough that she can go and ask if their free dental care includes partials:
Even though I used to live in Raleigh, I never became familiar with housing for the homeless in that area.
You might check if any local assisted living places offer jobs requiring little training. The assisted living place I now live in has one employee who looks about 8 months pregnant.
A website to check to see if there are any free medical care sites close enough you can use them:
Are you aware that the disability program I'm aware of seldom approves anyone during the first year after applying? It took over a year for me, even after I got some help from my brother-in-law the lawyer.
You may be able to get some free medical care and dental care. Check here to find out whether any of the sites that offer such care are within reach:
I can't help with your financial needs directly, but I've found a website that MIGHT be interested in offering a job to translate more of that website to English. However, I can't read enough Spanish to be sure.
I can't help with the money directly, but I have found a web site that MAY be interested in offering a job to translate that website to English. I can't read Portuguese well enough to tell just how interested they are, though.
Also, have you checked any of the local assisted living places to see if they have a job available, assuming that you feel safe leaving your husband at home? If they do, they're likely to offer more pay to someone already trained as a nurse.
Not likely to offer help with transportation or watching your kids, though.
Also, dental schools are likely to need patients for their students to practice on enough that they make such dental care free. Again, seldom with any help with transportation.
A site that may help those with disabilities, although often with at least a year's delay after you apply:
Also, dental schools often need patients for their students to practice on enough that they make such dental care free but with no help for for transportation costs. You might want to check if there are any in your area.

Hello, I've decided Aidpage needs a way to discuss translations from one human language to another. (I haven't decided if there's also a need to discuss translations from one computer language to another.)
I'll start by passing on a request for translations to help attract people to a computer-related project for helping medical research. (Note - I haven't checked how good Aidpage is at passing on replies in languages other than English.) If you're able to send me a useful reply soon enough, I'll pass it on to that project.
So far, translations into French, German, Arabic, Dutch, Norwegian, Swedish, Portuguese, and Spanish (Spain) have been provided by others.
Translating just the phrase in quotes, and specifying what language, is enough.
The project it's for is still so early in software testing that I DON'T recommend that you try to participate in that project yet, unless you have enough experience with the early stages of software testing.
The original request that I'm passing on:
----------------
Hello DD@H helpers/volunteers; we need you help in translating this phrase "Drugdiscovery@Home - volunteer computing in the fields of age-related diseases, cancer and stem cell biology regulation." into as many different languages as possible. thank you for your help, just post the phrase and in what language it is in. Please don't use auto-translators such as bing or yahoo or google as it's 90% of time will get some of the words wrong.

Do you feel qualified to handle a translation to Bangla? Here's the original request, from a project to help medical research:

If you can send a translation of the phrase in quotes to me, I'll pass it on to DD@H.
