I've been disabled and unable to work too long with the money you need directly.

However, a few things that may help:

http://www.tudiabetes.org/

http://alt-support-diabetes.org/new.php

Also, have you checked any of the local assisted living places to see if they have a job available, assuming that you feel safe leaving your husband at home?  If they do, they're likely to offer more pay to someone already trained as a nurse.

Mom of 2,On disability,In some servere pain

Here's a catalog of, among other things, free dental care sites; hope there's one close enough you can reach it.

Not likely to offer help with transportation or watching your kids, though.

Also, dental schools are likely to need patients for their students to practice on enough that they make such dental care free.  Again, seldom with any help with transportation.

A site that may help those with disabilities, although often with at least a year's delay after you apply:

About Translations

Hello, I've decided Aidpage needs a way to discuss translations from one human language to another. (I haven't decided if there's also a need to discuss translations from one computer language to another.)

I'll start by passing on a request for translations to help attract people to a computer-related project for helping medical research.  (Note - I haven't checked how good Aidpage is at passing on replies in languages other than English.)  If you're able to send me a useful reply soon enough, I'll pass it on to that project.

So far, translations into French, German, Arabic, Dutch, Norwegian, Swedish, Portuguese, and Spanish (Spain) have been provided by others.

Translating just the phrase in quotes, and specifying what language, is enough.

The project it's for is still so early in software testing that I DON'T recommend that you try to participate in that project yet, unless you have enough experience with the early stages of software testing.

The original request that I'm passing on:

----------------

Hello DD@H helpers/volunteers; we need you help in translating this phrase "Drugdiscovery@Home - volunteer computing in the fields of age-related diseases, cancer and stem cell biology regulation." into as many different languages as possible. thank you for your help, just post the phrase and in what language it is in. Please don't use auto-translators such as bing or yahoo or google as it's 90% of time will get some of the words wrong.

thank you...

Drug-Discovery Team.

Looking for Ideas on diagnosis

I just did a web search on muscle disorders; most of what I found looks like it might be useful AFTER you learn enough of the words doctors use to describe your muscle disorder, but is unlikely to be very useful before then.

Since many specialists require you to get a referral from another doctor before they'll see you, you might ask your regular doctor to help keep track of which doctors you've been referred to so far and to supply referrals as needed.  I did see some advise that a doctor who normally handles arthritis should also have enough knowledge of muscle disorders to be a good choice of the first doctor to be referred to.

A guess of something you should be checked for:

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Looking for Ideas on diagnosis

I've thought of another idea about how to get that muscle disorder diagnosed.  Is there a medical school close enough you can reach it?  If so, they're likely to want some patients for their students to try practising medical care on, and the professors may even offer their students some advice on how to decide what type of muscle disorder you have.  Depending on how uncommon a muscle disorder it is, though, it might take a visit to a medical school that offers a specialty related to muscle disorders.

Medical schools tend to make such treatment free for the patients once you get there, but with no help for the transportation costs.

Also, there's this site which may help you find a place for a free doctor's visit, but not necessarily one that's useful before you get a diagnosis:

DENTAL HELP FOR MISSOURI

Have you noticed that the number of people on Aidpage asking for money greatly outnumber those who have enough to offer any?  For example, I've been disabled with no job for years.
